Thinking of all my friends who will be at Peter Bodenham's funeral today. I am very sorry I can not make it, but I know he will be well honoured by a full and loving attendance. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say he was one of the best performers I've known. What commitment, sincerity, comedy, vulnerability and tenderness he could share on stage through a huge variety of characters in a rich, full-blooded tenor. And what a good - natured, supportive colleague and friend he was to all. Love to all who mourn him today, and God bless you, Pete!
